Dermatologist Recommended Summer to Fall Skincare

Disclaimer: Press Release

"Say goodbye to summer - Sunday, September 22nd marks the official start of fall. Wondering how to transition your skincare routine from summer to fall? Dermatologist Dr. David E. Bank reveals his top tips and product recommendations for fabulous fall skin."

Before I reveal his tips, here some information about Dr. David E. Bank,
"Dr. David E. Bank is board certified by the American Academy of Dermatology and the founder and director of The Center for Dermatology, Cosmetic & Laser Surgery in Mount Kisco, New York. He is the author of Beautiful Skin - Every Woman's Guide to Looking Her Best at Any Age and currently serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center."

Now for the tips...
"- Continue to protect your skin by using sunscreen daily. Even though the days of laying out at the beach have come to an end,  you still need daily sun protection. Go for a lightweight sunscreen that won't clog your pores but will still provide ample protection. I like AVEENO® PROTECT + HYDRATE Lotion Sunscreen with Broad Spectrum SPF 30 - plus it hydrates skin!

- Do a self-check and visit your dermatologist for a skin cancer screening if you find any suspicious looking spots. The earlier skin cancer is caught, the higher the success rate for curing it.

- Be sure to exfoliate. Countless hours outdoors throughout the summer may lead to a buildup of dry, dead skin cells. Using an exfoliator to slough off dead skin cells, will leave your skin radiant and smooth.
- Moisture skin everyday! After exfoliating it's important to use a moisturizer to lock in moisture and create a protective barrier. Choose a lightweight daily use formula that will help prevent and protect against dry skin, like AVEENO® Daily Moisturizing Lotion.
- The harsh elements of summer can increase skin sensitivity. Use a body wash formulated with calming ingredients like oat, to soothe skin and reduce any chances of irritation. I recommend AVEENO® Daily Moisturizing Body Wash for everyday use - it's soap-free, dye-free, hypoallergenice and great for all skin types."
