October Favorites

ESTHE Shower Cologne in Floral Dream: I got this in Memebox Scentbox #4 Floral. When I first received this, I thought it was like a body spray. When I saw a video on YouTube, this professional from Korea was recommending different methods of moisturizing your body skin. She said if you have really dry skin, you can moisturize with a cream/lotion after a body mist. When I saw the description on the packaging, it mentioned that this is a light mist. I thought I would try it. It also mentioned shower cologne so why not? I spray the area before I moisturize and honestly, it hydrates better than just moisturizing. This has been a life saver especially on my feet/heels. My skin has gotten so much softer! I don't know if it's correct but it works.

Rock & Republic Blush in Call Me: I've had this blush for years and it's my go to blush. Not only do I like the packaging, it's a great everyday color. It's natural and gives a nice flush to the cheeks. Even though I wear this often, there's hardly a dent. I honestly don't know how I'm going to finish this blush. It also lasts all day on me.

CeraVe Moisturizing Cream: I've heard great things about this cream. For that reason when I saw a sign up for a sample, I signed up. I really wanted to try it out before I purchase a full size. To be honest, I won't be purchasing any moisturizer in a long time. I want to finish the ones I have before moving on but it'll be great to have a list of products I know is good. This cream is on the thick side and it might not be great for oily skin. For dry skin individuals like myself, this product is great. It's extremely hydrating and I heard it's great for people with sensitive skin.

Maybelline Master Conceal in Light/Medium: Recently, I've been getting a lot of acne. It's more like the last couple of months. This concealer has come in handy. It's great for everyday and covers my imperfection even without foundation/BB Cream. It's also not cake-y and not heavy on the skin. It's light-weight and perfection for everyday coverage.

Kevyn Aucoin The Eyelash Curler: This has been the best eyelash curler I have used so far. The width of the eye area fits my eyes perfectly. It also curls most of my lashes which I've had issues with in the past. Not only that, it's a simple concept that easy to use.

October Finished Products
Mario Badescu Rose Hips Mask: I received this mask and glad I did. It's a good mask that made my skin look youthful and alive. I also love that it gave me a glow. My skin looked dewy. Not only that, my fine/deep lines were less noticeable.

Would repurchase: Yes.

Michael Todd Knu Anti-Aging Face Lift Cream: This is a light, hydrating moisturizer. Even though the consistency is on the thin to medium side, it was hydrating on my dry skin. This would be great for all skin types from oily to dry. It also helped diminish my fine lines, and made me look more youthful.

Would repurchase: Yes.

Enkore Pro Brush Soap with 5X Conditioners in Pearberry: I received this product in a swag bag. It's my first brush soap and I wasn't too sure what to expect. All I knew I didn't like it much from beginning to end. Now that I'm using another brush soap. I definitely now know my initial reaction was correct. This brush soap cleans my brushes but I had to put a lot of effort to get there.

Would repurchase: No!

Zoya Remove+ Nail Polish Remover: This is a good remover. To be honest, it doesn't blow me away. It removes as good as other removers I have used. I'm not too sure why it gets so much rave. I think the only thing good about this product is that it's less harsher on the nails than other removers.

Would repurchase: Maybe.

China Glaze in Blue Sparrow (Neon): To be honest, I couldn't remember where I got this polish. I had to scroll through my posts. I got this as a birthday gift in 2009. Wow, time sure flies! I actually found it hidden in my room and realized it was time to discard it. I couldn't even open the bottle and the liquid all disappeared. It's a pretty blue color but it has a lot of glitters. I'm also not a fan of China Glaze. They chip easily on me, as well as, they tend to get thick in consistency quickly.

Would repurchase: No.
