Thoughts: I'm a huge fan of derma e products. They seem to work well with my skin. For that reason, I was excited to try this product. On the other hand, I was kind of nervous because it has charcoal. From my experience, it's not the best on dry skin individuals.
Here's a closer look at the opening.
Here's a swatch of the product on my hand. You can see the tiny beads in the scrub.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, there's no noticeable scent while using the product. I just sniffed the product and there's no scent whatsoever. Secondly, I like the new design. The old design was nice but the new one looks more professional. It's simple and looks like a product from a higher end. With that said, the new and old comes in a tube. It's sanitary-safe and you have full control of the quantity you squeeze. Not only that, it's travel-friendly. It comes with a tight seal. When you close the top, it makes a clicking noise to know that it's closed. I cannot see it open unless you're rough with the packaging or you put something heavy on top of the tube. That will definitely squeeze the product out. Third, the consistency is medium. It's not too thick and it's not too thin that it runs everywhere. Before I use the product, I always take the pictures. When I took the picture of the swatch on my hand, I didn't see the beads with my naked eyes. I was amazed the camera got it! Anyways, I didn't know it had beads until I cleaned the swatch of my hand. The direction says to use the product after clean face. I thoroughly washed my face with cleanser and while wet, I used the scrub. I grabbed couple drops and put it on my cheeks, forehead, nose, and chin. Then I applied the product in a circular motion for a minute on each area. While doing so, that's when you feel the beads. It's definitely not one of those beads that melt. You can feel the beads the entire minute. If you have sensitive skin, it might feel rough but it shouldn't do any damage. I don't have sensitive skin but it was uncomfortable the first time I used the product. After the first usage, you get used to the product and it becomes comfortable. Then you cleanse your face with water and pat dry with a towel. With that said, it's extremely easy to use. Lastly, the results are amazing right after using the product. Not only does the face feel clean, it's soft like a baby's butt. It honestly feels like it scrubbed the dead skin off and produced the newer skin. The skin feels amazing. With that said, it's not drying at all. I have dry skin and the fear I have with exfoliating is if it will dry out my skin. I hate the tightening feeling I get and this doesn't do that at all. It's extremely comfortable and there's no tightness. For that reason, this is great for all skin types. I wouldn't say I would use this in daily basis but it's great once to twice a week. For acne and oily skin, I think it's fine in daily basis since it's meant for everyday use.
