I was fortunate to attend Endura Face Off Premier Party hosted by European Body Art last Thursday, October 17, 2013. It was held at Naimie's Beauty Center in Valley Village. If you don't know about Face Off, it is a reality television game show where a group of prosthetic makeup artists compete against each other. The makeup artists create prostheses that you find in science fiction and horror films.

After you sign in, you go upstairs and this is what I found. To be honest, I thought we were going to sit down and watch the show Face Off. Let me tell you I was so wrong! It was better than watching a show. You got to see the whole thing in action. For 2.5 hours, 6:30-9 p.m., you get to enjoy the music (DJ by a female, you rock girl!), food (let me tell you they really spoil you from sandwiches, meatballs, to dessert), and just get to watch the makeup artists at work.
Two artists, makeup and hair, created this look. I did not take an end picture because this was pretty much the overall look.
Here are the same artists doing a look on another model. This was taken towards the end of the look.
When I first saw the beginning process of this makeover, I was not too sure what it was going to be.
It was amazing! Not only that, the model was an amazing actor. He was in script the whole time. He walked like a zombie, made noise like a zombie, and even dance like a zombie. I think he just made this makeover awesome!
I took this picture at the beginning and knew this was something to watch out for!
I was not the only one. A lot of people stuck around for this makeover. Unfortunately at 9 p.m., the two makeup artists were still fine touching the model. Even though it wasn't finished, it came out amazing. The minor details were amazing! This was something you had to see in person.
All the attendees received a goody bag. Inside the goody bag, we got Make Up Artist Magazine, three sample Endura Face Off paints, and a t-shirt of the premier.
It was a good thing I stuck around to see the end. They announced the winners of the giveaways. You had to be present to win the three prizes. I ended up winning the second prize. I won European Body Art hat, Face Off t-shirt (it's so cute!), and 2 Endura Face Off paint kits.
