I actually bought this some time ago, but I didn't want to use it until I finish the top coat I was using at the moment (Butter London Hardwear P.D. Quick Topcoat). Now that I've been using the top coat from CND for awhile, it's time to review.

Product Review: CND Vinylux Weekly Top Coat

Where to purchase: ULTA and online at cnd.com
Price: $10.50 for 15 mL/ 0.5 fl oz

Made in USA

Description from ULTA website: CND Vinylux Weekly Top Coat is part of a breakthrough system for fashion perfection...without a base coat! While ordinary polishes break down over time, Vinylux Weekly Polish actually becomes more durable! Use only with Vinylux Weekly Polish.

Vinylux Weekly Top Coat becomes more durable with exposure to natural light, dries quickly, and provides weekly-long wear.
Ingredients:
Ethyl Acetate, Butyl Acetate, Cellulose Acetate Butyrate, Isopropyl Alcohol, Acetyl Tributyl Citrate, Glycidoxypropyl Polysilsesquioxane, Bis-HEMA Poly(1,4-Butanediol)-22/IPDI Copolymer, Acrylates Copolymer, Adipic Acid/Neopentyl Glycol/Trimellitic Anhydride Copolymer, Trimethylpentanediyl Dibenzoate, Acetone, Bis-Trimethylbenzoyl Phenylphosphine Oxide, Benzophenone-3, CI 60725 (Violet 2).
Thoughts: The salesperson highly recommended this top coat. For that reason, I was intrigued.
Here's a closer look at the brush. Compared to my favorite medium brush from OPI, the length and width are shorter. They're not that much shorter, just slightly.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, I'm so used to nail polishes scent that I don't really notice while applying. With this top coat, I actually notice the scent when I'm painting my nails. It's pretty strong but not to the point that it bothers me. Secondly, I've only used this for a month or two. The consistency is slightly on the thick side. It's not completely thick but I can see it get thick in couple of months. I will have to thin it out with a thinner. Since it's on the slightly thick side and it has a decent width brush, it's easy to paint the nails. Three strokes is good enough for each finger or at least for me. Third, I'm a huge fan of fast drying polishes. I was told it dries real quick. From my experience, it does dry quickly, but not as quick as Seche Vite and Butter London. With that said, there's a good chance I might be using this wrong. From the description, they said to use combined with their polishes. I just cannot use CND polishes alone. I love using different brands and learning about new ones. Lastly, it would be cool if I could only used CND polishes. You only need the polish and the top coat. You don't need a base coat from the description. It would make painting easier with less steps. Like I said, I cannot just devote to one brand. If you can, this might work for you. Since I cannot devote to one brand and I love fast drying polishes, I probably wouldn't repurchase.

Pros:
* Nice width brush.
* Quick when it comes to painting.
* Easy to use.
* No streaking.
* No bubbles.
* Smooth layer.
* Shiny.
* Fast drying; takes several minutes.

Cons:
* Strong scent.
* Consistency on the slight thick side.
* Not that quick when it comes to drying personally.
* Hard to devote to CND polishes only.

Would repurchase: No.
