September Favorites

Nerium Age-Defying Day Cream: I was fortunate to receive this moisturizer which I will review soon. It's a light-weight cream that is great for all skin types even dry skin like myself. It doesn't have any noticeable scent, as well as, it sinks into the skin extremely fast. The best part it hydrates my skin for the entire day. I don't have to reapply moisturizer.

It's Skin Cookie & Body Ice Cream in Strawberry: When I saw this at Sephora, it sold me for the cuteness. Not only is it cute, it smells good. It reminds me of yogurt more than ice cream. It's a light-weight moisturizer that is great for all skins. It's easy to use and it sinks into the skin quickly.

Formula X Prime Xcel Base Coat: I received this product from Influenster which I will review. This is actually my second base coat from Formula X. I actually love the first one, Formula X Prime Base Coat, that was given to me. They're both sticky which helps the nail polish adhere to the base coat. It makes the polish last longer.

Smackers Disney Tsum Tsum Lip Balm in Minnie (Strawberry Lollipop): When I saw this at Walgreens, I had to purchase it for the cuteness. They have many different characters/flavors but I was most drawn to this one. It smells really good and has been helping me hydrate my dry lips.

MAC Liptensity Lipstick in Smoked Almond: I purchased this lipstick and do not regret it at all. It's a great fall color and best of all, I can wear it in daily basis and not look like I'm overdone. Not only that, it's opaque and long-lasting. Most lip products come off easily after I eat/drink but this didn't.

September Finished Products
KORRES Lip Butter in Guava: I bought this lip butter from a set. It was an alright lip moisturizer but I think it's meant more for normal to hydrated lips. For someone like myself with dry lips, it really didn't hydrate that quickly. It took constant hydrating to get to the point of comfortable lips.

Would repurchase: No.

Bare Republic Natural Mineral Sunscreen SPF30: I received this sample from Generation Beauty 2015. I wanted to finish what I had before using the samples. For one thing, I like that it doesn't smell like other sunscreens. It doesn't smell chemically which is a plus to me. With that said, there's a lot of liquid in the sunscreen. When I first used it, liquid just leaked out. I had to use it over the sink but after that incident, I never saw liquid again. It is a light-weight sunscreen that feels more like a moisturizer than sunscreen. It spread easily, sink into the skin quickly, and did not leave a white residue. It was an alright sunscreen but I didn't like that it's mineral. I don't know if it's just me but mineral products changes consistency quickly.

Would repurchase: No.

Olay Fresh Outlast Body Wash Cooling White Strawberry & Mint: I received this product from PINCEme. It really didn't smell like strawberry but I could kind of smell the mint. It wasn't strong and the smell doesn't last that long. With that said, it was easy to use. I applied small amount on a sponge and applied it to certain parts of my body. Compared to other body washes, I probably used a lot more at one time. It created a foam quickly but it disappeared as quickly as it formed. For that reason, I would apply more onto the sponge to clean other parts of the body.

Would repurchase: Maybe.

Gold Bond Skin Therapy Cream in Strength & Resilience: I received this sample from PINCEme. To be honest, I cannot remember this cream. I kept it in my car whenever I needed a moisturizer. I do remember it was medium thickness and it hydrated my hands. Other than that, I cannot remember the smell. That's why I review products on my blog and go back as a reference. Otherwise, I would repurchase because I cannot remember my thoughts.

Would repurchase: Maybe.

The Body Shop Body Butter in Frosted Cranberry: My friend gifted me a set for Christmas last year, 2015. She knows I'm a huge body butter fan from The Body Shop. They hydrating and great for dry skin individuals like myself. Not only that, it smells great!

Would repurchase: Yes.

Beaute Basics Perfect Blender Makeup Sponges:I bought these sponges from Groupon. It came in a pack of two and so far, I have only used one. I just assumed it was a sponge that you cannot purchase easily and for that reason, I never reviewed it. Now that I looked online, I realize I should have reviewed it. Anyways, I really did like the sponge. It had a flat surface that made it easy to apply the foundation, as well as, concealer. I also used the pointy part on small areas. This is a good sponge to apply products. When it came to cleaning, I might be too rough. It mostly ripped in the curve area and started coming apart.

Would repurchase: Maybe.

Parian Spirit Brush Cleaner: I bought the cleaner or part of it. The company was kind enough to give me the travel spray and canister. To be honest, this is my first brush cleaner that I used in-between deep cleaning. It really came in handy because I used to clean on a tissue paper between the deep cleanings. It's not the most sanitary safe but I didn't want to ruin my brushes constantly cleaning in daily basis. That changed when this came into my life. It's the most convenient product. It's sanitary-safe, easy to use, quick, and it smells like citrus.

Would repurchase: Yes.
