Please don't forget to enter BeBella Lip Liners Giveaway. It ends January 23, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. PST (Pacific time).

Sorry for the lack of updates. I usually try to schedule a week in advance but I haven't been feeling that great this beginning of 2018. With that said in May 2017, I was fortunate to be invited to derma e Spring Soiree and received a swag bag at the end.

Here are the products I received. I already reviewed derma e Nourishing Rose Cleansing Oil (fifth from the left). For this post, I will review the derma e moisturizer third from the left.

Thoughts: When I received these products from derma e, I was excited to try them out especially the moisturizers. My skin love this brand. It absorbs easily, leaves a nice smooth texture, hydrates, and improves the skin. For that reason, I was excited to try this product.
Here's a closer look at the pump.
Here's a swatch of the moisturizer on my hand.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, there was a noticeable scent when I first used this product. After several uses, I got used to the scent that I don't notice it anymore. I just sniffed the product and it has a slight citrus scent, but not to the point it smells like oranges or lemon. I cannot pinpoint the smell but I have to say it's on the unique side for me at least. Secondly, the packaging is nice. I like the design. It's simple, clean, and the design looks high end. I also like that the design doesn't go all the way around the bottle. There's a little part you can see through the packaging. I like knowing how much product I have left. I'm just weird that way. With that said, it's made out of firm glass. The pump is also nice. I have full control of the quantity I can pump. The top is also sturdy. It doesn't come off when I grab the top with my hand. I don't have to worry the bottle will fall while holding the top only. I cannot see this open or break unless you are rough with the packaging. For that reason, it's travel-friendly. It's also thin enough to throw in your purse or bag, and even hold with one hand. Third, the consistency is more on the medium. I would say it's more a lotion than a cream. If you have oily skin, this product will be good for you. It's also great for dry skin but can be drying during the dry, winter weather. I've been lucky this winter the weather hasn't been that drying or at least from my experience. For that reason, this has come in handy. It's easy to use. Three good pumps has been good enough for my entire face and neck. It spreads easily and since my skin is dry, my skin absorbs this product like no other. It leaves a nice, smooth texture. It's not oily/greasy at all and it's extremely light-weight. Best of all and what I need the most is hydration. Lastly, I'm almost towards the end of the product. It's a great product but I think it'll be greater for semi-dry to oily skin. If you have super dry skin like mine, it's a hit or a miss. Thankfully it's not that drying at the moment and for that reason, it's been working well. There has been days it's drier and no matter how much I moisturize, it wasn't enough. I saw dry patches on the outside of the face like around the eyes and forehead. If my skin wasn't this dry, I would completely say yes. For spring and summer, I can see myself using this product!

Pros:
* No noticeable scent after several usages.
* Nice design; simple, clean, and looks high end.
* Can see through the packaging.
* Made out of firm glass.
* Full control of the pump.
* Sturdy top.
* Travel-friendly.

* Great for dry skin when the season isn't that dry.
* Easy to use.
* Spreads easily.
* Skin absorbs the product.
* Leaves a nice, smooth texture.
* Not oily/greasy.
* Light-weight.
* Hydrating.

Cons:
* Not hydrating during the dry, winter weather for dry skin individuals.

Would repurchase: Yes.
